House Painting

Most paint that fails early did not fail because of the paint. It failed because it went onto a surface that was chalky, glossy, damp or dirty, and it never really bonded in the first place. Scraping, sanding, filling, caulking and priming is the unglamorous part that decides whether the finish lasts.
